Game Writing and Editing

I write and edit both for video-game companies and for my own games.

I contributed to the dialog and backstory for two heroes in Dota2, a Valve game.  One of them is Medusa; her dialog is here:

You can click on the “play” button to the left of each line to hear the dialog performed by Jen Taylor, with some lovely and eerie post-processing.

I also edited most of the dialog for Halo 4 while I was working at 343 Industries.


Game Development

In 2011, I created a short, 3D action-adventure game called Grand Invasion: A Full-Scale Assault, as a portfolio piece to showcase my writing. I used Blender for 3D modeling and animation, and the Unreal Development Kit (UDK) for level design. You can see a short video preview (and, if you like, download the game) here:

I’m now working on my second game, which is currently wreathed in mystery.
